What I'm Reading
June 2025
Why do authors keep writing great books? June was an exceptional month for reading. So many of these novels came highly recommended and totally lived up to the hype. I could see a few of these appearing on my year-end Top Ten list. I might need to stretch it to Top 25 of 2025. Seems fitting.
Surprise Standouts: LISTEN FOR THE LIE and THE BORROWED LIFE OF FREDERICK FIFE.
Library Book I Might Have to Buy to Underline my Favourite Passages: SALTWATER (Definitely adding THE CLOISTERS to my TBR List)
This month, I read one book from my Books I’m Excited to Read in 2025 list. Yes, I’m slow to pick them off, but in my defence, there are more coming next month. THE FAVORITES has a females in sport angle, which I love, and I have really enjoyed Layne Fargo’s other novels. It lived up to the hype. I recommend it completely.
See if you can guess which book off this list I’ve already finished in July.
